Spend a slow and nourishing day on a working farm in Fallika village, located 6 km from Andros’ main town, Chora, offering wide sea and mountain views. This experience is designed for guests who wish to reconnect with nature, food, and traditional farm life in a calm, mindful setting.
The visit combines gentle farm activities, a hands-on bio cooking session using seasonal ingredients, and time to rest and enjoy the natural surroundings. Meals are prepared together with ingredients coming directly from the farm and nearby producers.
Andros Island is approximately 2 hours from Athens via ferry from Rafina Port, making this experience easily accessible for short getaways as well as longer stays.
The experience includes
- Welcome drink (homemade lemonade or spring water infused with herbs)
- Gentle guided walk around the farm
- Introduction to daily farm life, sustainability, and respect for nature
- Interaction with farm animals
- Hands-on farm workshop (simple cheese or butter making, depending on season)
- Introduction to traditional cheeses of Andros (when fresh milk is not available)
- Guided bio cooking session using seasonal farm ingredients
- Shared farm-to-table meal and tasting of local products
- Free time for rest, reflection, and presence in nature
